After the Storm Update

The City is currently experiencing the storm surge from hurricane Irma in all coastal areas.  Many streets are impassable at this time.   Initial damage assessments were started last night and will continue for several days.  Residents should avoid driving on water covered streets.

City offices will remain closed today, Monday, September 11, 2017 while assessments and debris removal continue.

The curfew enacted by Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell is still in effect 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for all of Charlotte County.

Updates will be posted throughout the day as they become available.
