Public Records As the public records custodian for the City of Punta Gorda, the City Clerk receives and responds to all public records requests as provided for in State Statute. Such a request is not required to be in writing, nor is the requestor required to provide their name or an explanation as to why the request is being made. For those who wish to make a written request, you can print and complete the form below. All public records requests should be directed to the Office of the City Clerk and are accepted in the following ways:
