Boards & Committees

Citizen Advisory Boards & Committees

Citizen advisory boards and committees, to which the City Council makes appointments, are an integral part of the governmental process in the City of Punta Gorda. The current ad hoc boards and committees are: Council Chambers

The citizens that serve on these various boards and committees have an interest or experience in the area of service and the necessary expertise to accomplish the goals and objectives of the specific advisory group.

Some of these boards require financial disclosures. The appointees are required by Section 112.3145, Florida Statutes, to file a Form 1 Statement of Financial Interests with the Supervisor of Elections within 30 days of appointment.
