Nature Park Pedestrian Bridge Reopening

The City of Punta Gorda is pleased to announce that interim repairs to the pedestrian bridge at Nature Park have been completed and the bridge is fully functional. Press Release Nature Park reopening pathway bridge.

City crews completed interim structural repairs to the bridge pilings to stabilize the walkway and ensure the safety of park visitors. With this work now finalized, the pedestrian bridge will reopen to the public today, March 5, 2026. 

We appreciate the community’s patience during the repair process and look forward to welcoming residents and visitors back to enjoy the trail and park amenities.
